CRIPI 2016 - the national climate change conference for primary industries was held in Sydney on 27-28 April 2016.
The successful two-day event saw an impressive turnout of leading key primary industry leaders from agribusiness, policy, research and government. Delegates commented on the high quality of the program, speaker presentations and the engaging audience.
The conference successfully highlighted climate resilience within Australia's globally competitive primary industries. This included examples of research, development and extension investments and activities to reduce nitrogen, methane and carbon emissions. The conference also highlighted strategies to help agriculture respond to climate change and reap economic benefits through production gains and market access.
